Modern
day slavery is still going on, right here in the US! According to the
United States Department of State there are approximately 14,500β17,500
people a year trafficked into the United States β mostly women and
children.
Wed. Feb. 15, we'll give you a
night out of FREE LIVE entertainment, but also a chance to learn about
this cause that affects millions, from city to city, from the consumer
to the business man |

Everybody has a story to tell. In a room of motivated entrepreneurs that fact, on its own, is inspiring.
A few months back, I went to a networking luncheon where the women at our table got a chance to share.
One woman lived in the Caribbean and has written three books on inspiring others to,yup, thrivein their lives and emotional and spiritual well being.Others have
started businesses or have come through horrible divorces or illnesses.
No doubt each of these women were success stories. Several women talked
about how they get to help other women through their own chosen line of
work. |

βMan never made any material as resilient as the human spirit.β Bern Williams
I opened a fortune cookie years ago that read: "No need to worry! You will always have everything you need."
It
was just a fortune cookie, a silly little paper inside an individually
packaged crumbly low-cal cookie at the bottom of my empty Chinese take
out bag. These words have become a silent mantra for my own emotional
resilience.
In my life, I have oftennotreceived what I wanted but I've always received what I needed. |
